Michael Hornberger has worked in the consulting industry for more than 10 years and covers a broad customer base. His areas of expertise are first and foremost sales/marketing, process and structure optimisation, business model innovation and project management.

Michael Hornberger studied industrial engineering at the University of Kaiserslautern and University of Wisconsin in Madison (USA).

At the start of his career he worked for four years in international marketing and business development at Schlumberger Ltd. in the Water Management & Smart Cards Division in Paris and the USA. From there he went on to work as a consultant at Droege & Comp. AG in Düsseldorf.

At the IGI Institute for Growth and Innovation, in addition to his position as Vice President and COO, he is also responsible for "Consulting Methods and Products" and "Communication".
